I took the Near North version of this tour in September of 2008. I think they made some changes to it and it has improved. When I took it, I didn’t feel that it was a lot of food because we had tea, tasted spices, tasted oil, tasted some fudge, tasted some cheese, and had a half a latke at a Jewish deli. It did end with a (smallish) piece of stuffed pizza which was good and helped. However, I think they realized that it wasn’t a lot of food and now offer a Reuben instead of the Latke from the Jewish Deli. All in all an okay tour if you don’t mind a lot of walking which can be tricky in Chicago weather. It was extremley hot the day of our tour which is of course no control of the tour, but something to keep in mind.
